My Audi is very ill it is making allsorts of banging from under the car, rear end :o putting it down to prop shaft or diff :o

Had a look on sat and found most of the nuts holding the prop shaft on.........well was not holding it on, put new nuts on, but still the banging, another look on tuesday :D

Some good points mind, i get to put all the mods on that i have bought for it :D very nice full blue flame exhaust system B)

Your car with the V8 sounds good anyway, with the Blueflame exhaust its gonna sound brilliant. Oh and German cars are certainly not incompetent Stav, they seem better setup and tuned from factory, but Jap cars have more tuning potential (could argue its because they need it) ;)

I'm guessing the loose nuts/bolts on the prop shaft are to blame for further stress/damage that a spanner would have initially cured.

Propshaft rather than diff, that's my guess anyways...

Blueflame exhausts, from Skem near me in Wigan? Heard good things about them, bet it sounds stunning on the S4 :)

Well it will remove the cats :winky: so i think it might, the nice man a got it off, for £75 off eBay, saying it did on his, but no paperwork to prove :o

I can have it mapped to 360bhp using standard exhaust, so fitting this might take just that bit more, i hope.

Chipped UK do a conservative remap from 344bhp to 364bhp, but I'm sure combined with your decat exhaust and a decent airfilter you could hit 380bhp ;)

Another way of saying the exact same thing is that the Japanese cars are over-engineered, which is why they tend towards greater reliability and can take more subsequent tuning. The Germans are stressing the components more from new, leaving less room for improvement later on.

Part that gone is the prop shaft UJ joint, good i thought......................not. Audi dont sell the part on its own :shutit: will only sell hole prop shaft with joints £700 + vat :o
