Jason_l has tinted his clear rear fogs, not too dark IMO

Thats cause im a legend! :D I need to do my rear lights also but even those above would be too dark on mine! After looking at these i really want to get some dark rear lights now :crybaby::crybaby:

here's a very old picture not showing new spoiler, debadged, lower lip etc but you can see the rear fogs clearly in this picture :P

I'm gonna go against the grain here, but doesn't look too dark as long as the lights are still clearly visible when they're on...........I just don't like the way tint spray gives the lights a matte finish..........I really liked the one a while back where the guy tinted all the lights with tint film, that looked really cool B)

i might try that...

im waiting on a replacement light so i can experiment with this one..

lights come through ok but i think with some brighter LEDS then it will be fine..

you need to flat them back using a really fine grade wet and dry paper, probably put another coat on, then flat again, then lazquer, flat, more lacquer, then flat.

i made some all red rear lights for my old golf and it took about 5 coats of lacquer to make them look OE style, not badly DIY tinted

Think tinted lights kinda take the effect away of the original Lexus light that every car has as aftermaket add-on.

But the smoke effect can look good if as said is lacquered well.

Jason l, are they chrome fog light surrounds you have there?? Look good!
