Ok just a small question from some one not very good with the computer.

When I see people replying to posts and they just quote small parts of it and not the whole thing.

How do you do it

i would have thought you just delete the section you dont need

Just click reply on the post you want to have shown in your post and delete the bits you dont want to show

Just kidding, what Saraj said, just go into the quoted section and delete any bits you don't want. If you're feeling braver, you can even split up the original quote into several sections, say, if you want to reply to individual bits of it, and that will involve adding new "quote" tags. You'll see the square brackets and the word "quote" at the start of the quoted section, and then the same with a slash symbol at the end of the quoted section.

Ok thanks everyone. thought it was more complicated than just pushing the delete button
