Seems you should be able to change the audio settings in this "hidden" menu - anyone heard of it before/tried it?

Got to admit - I always thought the sound was missing some bass - given the fact there is a supposed subwoofer in the back shelf.

Gonna give it a try tonight and see if it imporves or even works at all

Wonder if this works in the IS too?

Obviously the sound system isn't the same, but it may have similar diagnostics.......I'll have to give it a go and see :)

Couldn't make it work in the IS...............brought up the diagnostics on the nav screen, has headunit and dsp amp on there, but then just has "check" which if you click just comes up with what seem to be part numbers..............

Similar set up though, so would be interested if anyone does know how to adjust the same settings on the IS

:-( doesn't work cause I got nav therefore don't even have the buttons to press

Unfortunately doesnt work on the DVD version by the looks of it - I get a menu (all in Japanese) after only 2 clicks of the lights which appears to be the diagnostic check (there are some OK's that appear) and 2 buttons at the bottom of the screen - if I press the first one - nothing happens - the second one appears to re-run the diagnostics.

Shame....
