I recently bought an IS 200 SE .High mileage but no service history! I did a bit of detective work! (just e-mails to dealers really!) and managed to get a print out of some services it had got from Lexus in Bristol. Then! (as it also had no manual/hand-book!) I got one off e-bay today! Its having a cam-belt and service on Monday! .Also yesterday I ordered a Clutch pedal rubber and a filler for the brake fluid bottle (12 bloody quid!!!!!!), also while I was on the phone I asked how much a cigar lighter was .It was 20 odd quid , so I didnt bother! (dont smoke anyway!).

But!!! asI was looking for a manual on the bay of e, I emailed a few sellers who were breaking cars, asking for a manual and a cigar lighter.None of them had the manuals.but!!!!! I cheeky **********! said he had a lighrt for 25 quid PLUS! a tenner for postage!!!!! ***** it was only 20 odd brand! new if I ordered one with the other bits!

So come Monday (after my regular mechanic has given it a good service and cam-belt change!) Ill feel heaps better!.

I know its a long and rambling post..! but it just goes to show what robbing ******s! some of these "salvage" type sellers on the bay of e are!!!

I have a cap over my lighter socket, taken from fords, cost a couple of squid off ebay, couldn't steal one from the scrapper

no one is allowed to smoke in my car

How does it look - any chance of a picture (sad I know)!!!

I've been thinking of doing something like this because I think the cigar lighter looks a bit ugly to be honest. I've also been thinking of spraying the inside of the ashtray with rubber paint so it can be used as a small storage area for coils etc, without rattling when driving :)

Filler? I cut the bottom off a water bottle - £0.

I beleive Wozza is the LOC Cig Lighter Expert.

Well done for sorting the car out. A little TLC now and then, they will go on forever!
