Auto Locking

Over the weekend,my is200 stopped auto locking the doors,i do remember pressing a few buttons on the key fob incorrectly,how do i get it back to its original auto locking??

Mine has only ever auto-locked the doors when I unlock with the remote on the key fob,

and don't open any door after about 20 seconds or so it auto-locks.

Is this what you mean ?

If you stop your car,get out and just shut the doors,isn't it supposed to lock the doors after a given time?? im sure mine used to do that.....

No...as above only when you press unlock on the key fob but dont open the door within a specified time then it will auto lock.

Just how long have you been leaving your car completely unlocked for :o ?

Don't risk it, close it yourself lol. I'm sure mine locks itself after a certain time (20 second'ish). but like i said, best to be safe than sorry.

WHen i bought mine it never autolocked.... it went in for its service, and now it does. im sure theres a way to turn it off!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but are IS250's supposed to autolock? I'm sure mine doesn't and I'd rather it did.

The IS200 only locks itself if you unlock the doors and then DON'T open any doors........it assumes you've unlocked the car by mistake - otherwise it does nothing, there is no autolocking on the IS200 :)

With regard to the IS250, I believe it does the same as the IS200, except for the post 07 models which do actually autolock when you pull away (or when you move into 'D', you can specify which)
