I really enjoy the entertainment bits of Top Gear such as the £900 Police cars last weekend. But I must admit the reviews done by Clarkson and the other 2 are a bit tedious and overdone. They seem to be designed to show how clever Clarkson is all the time. And by the way, in the not-too-distant past Clarkson said in his Times column that no-one who has an interest in cars would buy a Lexus, and that they're just for people who want 4 wheels. And James May should realise that at his age, hair hanging in front of his face looks frankly embarassing.

i think he sums up the Is 220/250 very well in that column

and its true you dont buy a Lexus for its power or handling

and if i had enough hair that i could then i would let it hang in front .....sadly i have not and for the forseeable future never will

Surprised that Clarkson missed the size of the interior mirror and how intrusive and obstructive it is.(on IS 250)
