Supercharger

i know it gonna be an investment but at that price how much more money are you gonna make?

the way i think of it is say you come to sell it in 1 or 2 years would you yourself pay for it then

I think the £2500 is a bit to much to pay IMHO, Supercharger kits are gong for about £2000.

4 yrs ago supercharger kit was selling for £3000 new, at one point, and one place was charging £4500 fitted :o some people was paying that price tooo.

Thay did come down in price at one time, i sold new supercharger kit for £1500 :o but that was the market at that time, Prolex then sold the last one's that Toyota GB had, at a very good price, now its very hard to get hold of one :o agian it down to the selling market at the time, and as somone has said, its only worth what someone will pay at the time, most people sell the supercharger kit through this club, and from what ive seen over the years, its down o how many new members the club has, and how many members wanting one.

I dont think @ £2000 for the kit, you are going to make much money, but im sure you will make the money back when you come to sell the supercharger kit in later years.

IMHO anyway :D

I dont reckon its too bad a price, esp if you used the black box, you'd prob get £100 back if you stuck the Emanage blue on eBay.

Maybe £2200 would be better for it including the intercooler etc.

Just my opinion.

I would have said about £2000 is fair.

It does come with induction kit, filter, bigger FMIC, Emanage, carbon scoop, and silicone hoses. That must be £700-800 (RRP) over and above the standard kit.

When mine was done, it cost nearly £5k fitted! (Thank you previous owner!)

If anyone on here does get it, I'd be interested in the scoop and hoses, if by any chance they were not required!

the hoses come with 'em so I thought....

Pretty sure they come with black standard hoses and i thought i saw blue silicone ones for £70ish recently from Prolex.

EDIT: Found this post here where you yourself told someone they were £38 from TDI!
