Thought I'd pop over from TOC as there seem to be more IT bods in here than we have back there...

I'm in the process of migrating a number of systems to run of the one box but have run into a snag, hoping someone on here can offer some advice...

I need to copy a ton of Scheduled Tasks from one 98 box onto another, I can't find a way to highlight and copy and was thinking the following, not sure it would work though...

If I create a shortcut to Scheduled Tasks to another location it can be shared, once it's shared I can copy to the new host, once copied can I then just drag them onto the new machine's scheduled task list...

Would that work ??

If not what's the file extension for scheduled tasks and what directory do they sit in ?

Any idea's :)

Give me back my UNIX boxes anyday....

:withstupid:

try this Ryan

run the command

\\computer-name\c$

enter your admin name and password - this should then give you full access to your c: drive over the network

whether or not you can copy and paste scheduled tasks correctly, I do not know - but you should be able to see them this way
