i disconnected the Battery for a few mins two days ago, since then the car is idle at around 2500rmp... just been to my local garage and they say that the ecu goes into self learn mode and should sort itself out shortly after startup. it hasnt. the cars just been plugged into a computer that shows no faults and that the throttle is non adjustable. he cleaned out the throttle body but thats made nop difference...., he has advised that there is a way of resetting the idle by shorting some pins together but he wasnt sure wich ones..

any ideas greatly appreciated. :crybaby:

It should settle down, let it idle for 5 mins and see if it drops. Otherwise take it for a drive and at each junction come to a complete stop, only when the vehicle isn't moving does the ECU try to correct the idle speed.
