Recommended Posts

Used to be Chris.s but he's left now i believe.

Nope he's still around mate

Think Stav means left his job with Toyota/Lexus parts dept

Could be I remember him saying he was a bit hacked off with the job. Didn't know he'd left though.

always try toyota using the gold discount

most will mail order

The Toyota dealers in Derby (next door to Lexus) wouldn't do a discount for me when I ordered from them thumbdown.gif

Yeah Chris is now good for Audi/VW parts ;)

found my local toyota dealer useless, didn't really seem to show much interest in my requests, think mainly cos i was looking for a part for an import and it would of meant doing a bit of digging as he was moaning that the import parts are hard to find because it wasn't a UK frame number on the car.

In the end I spoke to my mechanic mate, who contact Lexus Poole, He Spoke to a young guy there, really helpful new about the import models and sorted the part out no problem at all.

Even compared the prices between lexus and toyota to see if there was any difference in price. :)

try and get hold of the electronic parts catalogue, you can then look up the part numbers and give them to toyota, i have not had trouble ordering parts for the starlet using this method

I was given 15% discount on parts at Lexus Hatfield without even having to whisper 'Lexus Gold Card?' Having thanked him profusely the parts Manager said 'Well it is Friday' :P ...guess I need to remember not to visit any other day of the week
