I'm sure car manufacturers' research and development departments will be kicking themselves when they realise that instead of spending countless billion pounds on coming up with new alternative fuels they could instead have gone to a cheap and tacky looking website, spent less than £100 and had all their problems solved by an American yokel just out to make a quick buck.

in part thats true keith, but klein gas is actually a very interesting and useful technology that can have a more widespread use.....but i agree with you that the automotive industry is one suggestion that won't work!!

If it did work it would never see the light of day....can you imagine the oil companies and

OPEC cheering this one.

They would 'disapear' the inventor..... :shutit:

From wikipedia (and, of course, common sense, especially to anyone with any form of background in science...):

The energy required to generate the oxyhydrogen always exceeds the energy released by combusting it.

Therefore your car will consume more fuel creating the oxygen/hydrogen mix from water than it will save by burning it again later. Ergo, the device is a con unless you can use some sort of device attached to the brakes to do it, thus capturing energy that would otherwise be wasted. But then, that's what the hybrids do anyway isn't it?
