I would be interested. But finding even a few pounds spare at the moment proves near impossible. (maybe shouldn't have bought that £1000 TV yesterday!)

Been talkin bought goin with a couple of mates anyway, but have a bad feeling they will clock up better times than me (and most of you!) in scooby and m3, and some track experience too.

she's completely uninterested in the car or anything to do with cars.

Know the feeling mate! Unless she wants a lift somewhere, of course!

Times mean absolutely nothing - the point of it all is to enjoy yourself, you can ask quite a few of the guys - trying to beat or get a time is just not worth it :winky:

The trips not about the track times matey its the experience itself just going with a group of friends and having fun :D i went round in a week and a half but loved every minute of it and came home again all safe and sound which was the main thing to me and a few others that went on the last trip :D

Yep 3rd this,not about ring times at all, its the experience of the weekend trip with everyone having fun and all getting home safe & sound :D

Anyway its very hard to get real times, due to whats happening on the track at the time you go out, been round few times now, and i dont know any times at all :D

Saw Milo last night at a freinds birthday bash, he said he would go again if it was anytime up to mid August.

(I think he is shipping his car back to Oz at end of August).

I'd love to go but can't see me affording it again this year, but obviously if that changes I'll be there too.

there are no weekends in september where the ring is open for sat and sun, just weekends where you have one of the days available for tourists.

I'm still up for going late august 29-31, where it's open friday evening, and ALL day sat, and ALL day sunday. Would be good to firm up commitments and start booking stuff up like eurotunnel etc.

Leaving Fri 29th August, coming back Mon 1st Sep.

At the moment, leaving around 2pm on Friday from Folkestone, taking the 4pm train back on Monday, is costing £114 for the crossing.

I'd also like to propose staying somewhere closer to the Ring itself (who is up for camping?), in a move to save a bit of cash and have a different experience. If we can get the costs down, it does mean more people might be willing to come along.
