Hi all,

I replaced the batteries in two of the keys. One was used everyday, which was replaced fine and works, the other key had the batteries run out aout a year ago, never got round to replacing them, until now. The problem is that the key does not work. Does the key require programming, as it has been sitting for a year dead. Or are there a few simple steps to get it working again? Your help would be much appreciated.

I would be interested if this method works too, please post back with any feedback?

My spare key just had its Battery replaced (after 3 years or so) it locks and unlock f ine (even boot opens) but willnot start the car _ security light is on ?? might need programming in again.

ive seen a couple of methods for this. be interested to know which works!

there is another here: KEY PROGRAMMING

i think they are sublty different.

programming the immobaliser and the door opening i think are two separate tasks.
