Hi all,

I've a set of 17" IS250 alloys (thanks Chandru) on their way and need to know if my nuts are the correct ones to suit these alloys...

mine are from a 2000 and are flat washer type but i've had a search on the forum and 60 degree tapers were mentioned?

I think they'll be fine too from what i've read on different sites, the 60 degree tapers are from NON OEM wheels ...

thanks Wozza ...

I'll put up pics at the week end as the car needs a good clean....

wheels fitted on fine today and look great :)

They looked so nice that i went into Halfords to purchase some locking nuts, they checked their system for an 2000 IS200 and came up with a part no. for "mcgard" locking nuts.... guess what the nuts they came up with had a 60 degree taper ?

I wonder if the standard 16" alloys are fitted with taper nuts and maybe this is where the confusion is coming from?
