A lot of people on here rave about the Denso IK20 plugs. They're supposed to make a bit of a difference. Haven't got them though so can't comment what they're like.

oh, and how much better than the ones from a stealership are they?

The cars going for a service at the weekend (not to a Lexus garage though) and i dont want the garage putting their own trash plugs in the car and charging me top doller for it, so because i cant wait for the Yank to deliver i am looking at UK based solutions.

i was advised ngks are fine for NA engines, and for the kind of mods i'm planning. its only when fueling etc is increased that plugs need to burn hotter.

although there was only 10-15 £'s difference between ngk's and uprated densos.

Denso's on eBay are about the same price as the ones from Lexus. My car only has an I/K and HKS back Box on it so doubt I need anything thats for a high performance car.

I had my IS200 serviced about 4 weeks ago , the guy put the NGK irridium plugs in (about £60.00 quid) I then got a set of the Denso IK20 from e-bay for $49.50 dollars from an e-bay shop called Auto Parts Warehouse , (not incl delivery) fitted them myself and I must admit the car feels smoother and picks up faster . So I guess I'd say go with the Denso IK20's.

Paul.

have postponed the service, and bought a set of Denso's from your man in the States. Did it a couple of hours ago, will post again when they arrive so others can see the leed time.

I bought NGK iridium plugs for my GS300...

As far as plugs go, I can only recommend NGK or Denso (original were Denso)

Either way, only the iridium ones are recomended, and should last 60K plus miles before they need changing.

i never expected them to arrive this quick, but my spark plugs have just arrived! Just 6days after the order was placed, and over easter bank holiday too! What makes it better, my PIAA's came 10 minutes earlier from Sporting! Best £67 (combined) ive ever spent.

I am one happy camper today!
