OK I know it's not a Lexus but thought those who may know might frequent this forum. Anyway #2 stepson had his L reg Corsa rear ended and it was W/O, he had an aftermarket headunit (Sony) with ISO connector that worked fine on the old car. He has just bought an N reg Corsa and the standard adapter (Halfrauds) won't work.

When you plug it in you can hear the CD changer motor going so I assume it is getting the permanent live but it won't switch on. When you turn the ignition on it still won't switch on so I assume it is not getting the "switched live".

The car plug is in 3 multipin sections and the lead he has leaves part of the plug disconnected, I looked on fleabay and saw a lead like his, the seller said that it would not work with the amplified radio. Also I know from the Haynes manual that the wiring changed post 1995, so the old car was pre change and the new one is post change.

The image is the back of the old Vauxhall radio and the plugs that are connected through the ISO adapter are the ones inside the green box and the missing one is the one inside the red box.

Halfrauds say this is the only lead they do and "it must be the wiring", duh.........................no you really think so

I have checked the fuses and all are OK. Can anyone help please as he misses the CD and the Aux for his MP3.

TIA Neil
