hi all,

i have a photo that is a negative but i want to change it to look like a normal picture/colours etc - i have had a look on the net for something but cantt find the correct search words.

anyone know a programme?

Paint shop pro will do it with one click...

If you really get stuck, you cound email the pic, and I'll do it and send it back..

If you have a physical negative (as opposed to an image file that is negative) and you put it through a photo scanner, then the scanner will produce a positive image file in jpg, tif or similar format, ready for printing.

Is the negative part of a strip? Or is it a larger single negative? I am assuming that you are talking about a colour negative (i.e. a sort of orangy colour)

You need to find someone with a photo scanner. Alternatively, if you don't mind paying, Jessops should be able to scan it for you.

sorry i was unclear - i have a jpg photo file that looks like a negative, but i want to change it so it looks like a normal photo - can u do that in photoshop?

Open the jpg in Paint Shop Pro, and click "Negative Image" under "adjust" at the top..

Know its a bit late but a free package called IrfanView will do it as well, plus lots more.

CHEERS 4the info, i found corel have a 30 day free trial and it was only for 1 pic anyway,
