Wheel Nut Thread Gone Help Plz

Hi as above the thread in a wheel nut had gone and its messed up the thread on the bit on the car and the bolt wont do up tight, ive canged the bolt and its the same as the cars thread which im screwing onto has messed up!! Whats the easiest way of resolving this, would i need to change that whole bit if so whats it called or can i change each screw/thread?

tried to translate but i think u mean that one of the wheel nuts had a damaged thread, this has now dmaged the wheel stud and you you want to know if u can change the stud??

the answer is yes? its called a wheel stud and they are a few £

As rob says, a new wheel stud and wheel nut will sort it. The nuts are £4 or there abouts I think, not sure on the stud price but I would think it would be about the same. Knock the old one out from the front of the hub, feed the new one in from the back of the hub. Use some washers as spacers on front side of the stud and screw the nut on to pull the stud through to seat it properly.

just make sure it covers the correct thread pitch & width.

no mate that is one of the last things u want to do - if u can just knock out the stud and put a new one straight back in without any hassle then i would do that.

OF course if its just the starting thread then no probs but if its a few threads down get a new stud.

thanks guys bang on thats what i need i was getting worried i might need the complete bit which the stud goes into lucky was thinking of getting out a loan out to cover the cost lol, where can i get the studs from, lexus dealer?
