HOW BAD IS THIS,went to Halfords ,just to check the sales ,bought nothing, got back to the car and [ 5 DOLLARS ] FOUND THE TICKET''''''''''''''''.WENT BACK INTO THE SHOP and *** B''''''''''''''''''HOLD, I WAS TOLD ,IF U HAVEN'T bought from the shop ,they [HALFORDS] CAN'T PROVE I WAS THERE , and I had stayed over the hour, so that £40 TO WALK INTO ###### Halfords.And thats the way to end the year.THANKS #### Halfords.

I think Halford thought i went shopping on the high street and just used there car park, :duh:

usually if a private car park just refuse to pay. they have to take you to a civil court and not worth their while, so they rely on the fact most just pay up. we have a local car park here owned by co-op that charge 20p. People who don't bother to pay, get a ticket and just bin it without ever getting any come back.

Go the distance fella! You may as well and technically it is your right I believe to view CCTV recordings, as it is footage of you.

Halfords are savages for treating you in this way, and you should tell them that you have told many other motorists on this website about their shocking treatment. We should ALL BOYCOTT these savages for doing this to a law abiding customer. You should have bloody well nicked something, and then they would not be long producing evidence you were in the store. Watch out for the small print on the ticket - if you do nothing, the fine gets bigger and bigger and you end up being a registered criminal You may have to pay it and then appeal it - and SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THAT STORE, so they end up losing a lot more than 40 quid.
