Sorry to disapoint you but those figures are way off, yes it will have over 500bhp but the 0-60mph is more around the 4 secs and Top Speed is 217mph and the Price will be £100.000k plus.

We will also see the 3rd concept design before we see the official car.

Terry there's more about it on the autocar web site mate not many figures though? but it does look a nice motor? :D CLICKY HERE

Chris, there's a lot of speculation with a load of discrepancies. Take your link for example, it says mid-engined but other articles put it as front engined rear wheel drive with rear radiators. Several aricles speculated it would be ready in 2008 with prices starting at £75K in the UK, over $100K in the US.

Latest I've seen is:

' The production car will be a mite longer than the concept car at 4460mm and wider too at 1895mm, but it'll be the same 1220mm height to keep that dramatic silhouette. This scoop photo proves that Lexus is paying a lot of attention to the aero package, and it's working on a pop-up spoiler to keep the LF-A stable at all speeds, as well as a huge diffuser clearly visible at the rear. When will we see the LF-A in showrooms? The latest news is that it's still a couple of years away from reality, so expect it to arrive in 2009 when it will become the first Lexus to carry a six-figure price tag in the UK. As the technical showcase for Lexus, it is set to cost more than £100,000.'

It's changed a bit from the silver concept car I saw at the Houston Autoshow..headlights are now more like the second gen IS, and the front intake is different..looks a lot meaner IMO.

Yes i know what you mean Terry i've read about it a few times and it looks like they still dont actually know what to do with the car and is that an is200 rear fog light i see fitted?? :D I actually like it better in the pic's you posted above as like you say it looks a lot meaner and i like the rear spoiler on the ones in the pics but not too sure on the square rear end at the moment? but think it looks better in the darker colour? It'll be good to see the final design as it looks like they have a long way to go till its released for sale, ;)

Was just watching this again: LF-A video

When i first saw it at the 2005 Frankfurt motor show i loved the rear but the front lights were brutal, thankfully they've made them much better ( Nissan gtr influence perhaps?) but they should leave the rear alone as it was perfect....

ya was wondering about the 0-60 of 4.9, would seem a tad slow compared to rivals.... think for super-cars a more realistic 0-100mph would be more insightful....

Lotto winners only over here need apply when the tax man gets finished with it :(
