I've been to a few places that are like that and it is terrifying but if you watch the video again, you'll see, as I did when I have been to these places, it kinda works. Yes the cars are close, yes they seem to have a reckless disregard for any kind of safety but do you note the lack of any apparent traffic jam that you'd get in London given the same circumstances? In a wierd way, it works.
