My Mates's Stolen Car, Help Finding It.

Hi Guys,

My friends renault 5 got stolen on saturday night from a tuning Garage in Kirby. The car has been spotted around the Kirby area but the people who stole the car are now contacting my friend asking for money if he wants to see his car back. He owns Epic Custom Paintwork and his number is in the windscreen.

The renault 5 has a one-off paint job (in purple crackle effect and mirror flake and bright orange wheels) and is like no other ranault 5, so isnt hard to miss. Im wondering if you would all be able to keep an eye for the car as the car is of extreme sentimental value to my mate as he has done most of the work on the car from the paintwork to the 1.7 Turbo engine conversion. If any of you see the car could you please post on here straight away.

I have put some pics below of the car as it looked. Thanks for any help you can give.

Sorry to hear this.

Blackmail is a very serious offence. What have the Police said about setting the scrotes up?

As much as I don't like to say this I don't think your mate is going to see his car in the condition it was in the pics.

Horrible little Fu$£ers will probably set fire to it.

If they ever get caught, then they will be sent to Marbella for 2 weeks to "Chill out and learn from their mistakes"

Obviously it's more than just a car to your mate.

The work and passion he has put in to the car. Soul destroying to think what these bar stewards will be doing to it.

Not very good news from me I'm afraid but they make my blood boil.

thanks for your response mate.

The police have been completly useless so far. The car was involved in 3 police chases on the night it was stolen and they never managed to stop the car. Also even though the car had been in 3 police chases, my mate only found out in the morning that the car had actually been stolen.

With respect to the blackmail the police have not put any suggestions forward regarding a set-up. The only thing in all of this is that my mates company 'Epic Custom Paintwork' is on the car and they know he is the owner. He is now worried that the theft of his car is going to lead to vandalising his unit and maybe even theft from his unit. When they phoned him up they asked for £600 and he would get his car back, so he replied get stuffed. Then they phoned back a while later saying £300 and he will see the car again, so he told them to burn the car, the insurance company are going to pay out anyways.

I have created some posters with pics of the car on it and contact numbers and where going to drop them off at the petrol stations in and around Kirby, I know its a long shot but they will need fuel at some point as the car is quite heavily tuned up.

If any one has any news or sees it please let me know or call the police.
