Hiya guys, my handbrake light is staying on and the "traction off" light is flashing(not the skidding light) is this a sensor fault? Does the traction work off of ABS? Any ideas? Cheers.

Yes it says in the book that if handbrake light is on and the brake is fully off along with the TRC OFF light you must take it to the dealer.if i turn off the trc it still flashes as if its cutting power and resetting as when you turn the ignition off.I cant imagine its much other than a sensor. it started happening 1 day when i booted it up(supercharged) i dont know if its maybe with the extra BHP thats triggered it i also reset the ecu to see if it made a difference but it never

If you have access to an OBDII code reader, it should tell you what is wrong, and save any guessing...

Then it should be just a case of replacing a faulty part, or checking a dodgy electrical connection.
