Heated Seats

Good evening to all!!

Ok as most of you know i have a 93 LS, but im sure the seats just arent heating up! do they take a while to heat up or do you have to be sat in them? My car will be on the road as from next week so i can finish her, but its a shame to get everything fixed apart from this!!! plus the mrs wont be happy!

not sure all S1 were heated.

yea Alex mines a series 1 gen 2 and full heated seats.

By the sounds of it the heating elements are burnt out but dont know much about them!

I have them in my GS - it's a fair bit newer but I can't believe they would be that different.

They produce noticeable warmth in about 5 minutes maximum. The first thing you'll think is that you've wet yourself, as the undersides of your thighs will be warm, and the rest of your legs still freezing cold!!

hi mat

if they were like mine they did not work as the elements were gone a common problem

you should be able to feel the heat within 1-2 mins i can in the back of mine

well soon i will be lexus less as i have sold it now has i am saving for a chevy dayvan but still have the trans am

i will have another lexus as they are one of the best cars in the world but have to wait till i have the money for a ls460 or maybe a 430 but having 2 yank cars is calling and cheaper on the insurance
