Hi all,

Just bought these from the shop and i have been using the nxt gen quick detail but this came with the normal one.....which one is better?? Does it matter which one i use with the clay??

Any has anyone used this and have any tips?? I only use Meguairs product on the Lexus and swear by them.

I bought the scratch-x mainly as there are a few swirls on my motorbike i want to get but is this more like a t-cut where you dont want to do the whole car in it, just patches. Or is it safe to do it on the whole car every now and then to bring the shine back?????

After the scratch-x i would clay it and then nxt gen tech wax the whole car anyway.....

Cheers all for any help!!! B)

If I were you I'd clay first to remove all deposits on the paintwork from road/insect/animal/atmosphere, or you'll be putting more swirls in thean you're getting out with the scratch-x.

I used to acid wash the IS200, but the clay bar is definitely more effective. I use the Sonus Swirlbuster polish if I have any (swirls that is, not polish  ) with my PC orbital and it isn't agressive at all (certainly would take a hell of a time to remove anything you'd describe as a scratch).

Have used the NXT gen tech wax, but always topped it with P21 wax...generally use Klasse & P21 now.
