Some have bolts holding it on, some have d/side/tape, and some both :winky:

Pull the lining off the back of your boot, look inside to see if you can see any bolts.

On my 2000 plate IS there were 3 10mm nuts holding it on plus a couple of strips of tape, 1 nut at either end and 1 in the centre?..

Same for me I had the Sport spoiler on IS 99 plate.. mine had 3 screws & tons of bond stuff (which is a huge pain to get off) the holes will need to be rewelded up an whole boot spraying = very costly to be honest unless you know someone who can do it on the side cheap... but a good place will have no problem fitting it, its just how much you have to spend my total cost was £250 :crybaby:

but I sold the old spoiler for £85

perfect scenario is a boot with no spoiler/holes previously then its just a spray very cheap, and fit.. hope this helps

I like my little lip spoiler as its held on with D/Sided tape although it came lose and then when i took it back to lexus, they've gone and stuck it back on, on the p1$s and although its not out by much it annoys me everytime i wash the car!!! lol.

I think fitting a hoop spoiler shouldnt be too hard of you take you time and measure twice and drill once as it would be a costly error! lol.......
