Petrol Flap

Hi Guys

Im having a bit of a problem with my petrol cover not opening. At first i thought the cable may have snapped, however when i pull the lever i can hear the cable moving, so i wedged the lever up and opened the cover. This confirmed that the cable has not snapped cuase i can see the clip that hold it shut pulls in when the lever is pulled. Im assuming that its some sort of spring mechanism that has either fallen out or damaged.

Could anyone be so kind to take a picture of the inside of theirs so i can have a look and see ehats missing/broken.

TIA :winky:

I had a minor problem with mine as it happens, it never sat flush when I got the car, so I gave the spring a little squeeze so when it was closed it sat flush, but there wasn't enuff force left to push it open when I pulled the cable, so I opened it up a little again, and now it doesn't sit flush again, lol, but at least it works
