Headlights

hi all,

i have a set of headlights that are meant to be for LHD - but the makings on the lens are the same as RHD ones - how do you tell which is which?

Chris- is there a Part Number somewhere??

For the guys with LHD cars - on the lens at the bottom there is a square with a few arrows - do the arrows point in the direction of the light beam?

I have RHD headlights fitted on mine, the LHD ones are in France but if I remember correctly, the vertical bends on the reflector have different spacing.

On my RHD ones for example, when facing the headlight, the bends are closer to each other on the left of the bulb than on the right. I think it is the other way round on LHDs

normaly they say rhd or lhd on the top

hi chris - i had a look and nothing on the units at all to indicate LH or RH drive only L and R R is on the right light and L on the left.

Normally on the platic casing it will say 20% RHD and perhaps an arrow (-->) then the make etc

ah! i have a 1.3% marking with a dipped beam icon and both lights the beam is pointed to the left - will check my RHD lights if they are pointed to the right
