Welcome to LOC. :D

If it's the same as the series 2 it is located low down under the dash right hand side beneath the coin holder it's round in shape and has a cover on it.

yea its usually under the hood lever, http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html is how it looks like <----also that website is extremely helpful if you are a do it yourselfer. though these are the American spec LS400s should be the same as the Euro ones right?
