IS 250SEL Auto.

Ages 50+, retired, garaged overnight, 10yrs+ ncb, 10 yrs+ no convictions or accidents, 10,000 - 15,000 miles a year. Need minimum 90 days European cover.

Just renewed fully comprehensive cover for my IS220d with Swift for about £250. Includes commuting to work. A bargain I think!

I'm paying almost 8 times the cheapest quote on this thread. Honestly, people....err.. "over a certain age" should be banned from ever complaining about car insurance costs! :P

I know, but unfortunetly:

My Postcode is shared with a housing estate which is about a mile down the road

Car is Group 16

I have declared Mods

Just turned 25 (was 24 when policy began)

No No Claims discount (first time I got a car insured in my own name)

Weirdly - my name actually Starts Mohammad Anees and then my surname and when I got my policy online, When I put my details as Mohammad Anees, it was £80 more expensive, then putting my name down as Anees the surname. So I got the policy as Anees, and then run up to change my name details. Insurer said it was a glitch in their online software??

Hopefully will be cheaper at renewal time with my no claims (1 year) and being 25.....

Strange about the name glitch but at least you sorted that without any extra cost, sure it will drop quite alot.
