I went to Japerformance today to see if they would map my car since fitting the supercharger. He told me that i could not map it with the TTE piggyback and that i would be best to get a Haltech E11v2 standalone. He also said it would cost £1850 fitted and mapped. It seems like a lot of money. My intensions is to fit a sports manifold, bigger intercooler ,induction and possibly pistons and injectors at some point. Do i need to pay this so that i can map the car? What has everyone else done?

ECU is $1085 Au which is about £460 so I would agree it sounds a bit steep.

HKS is way to go IMHO

Greddy is good but relies on slave signals before doing its work...i.e ecu says X greddy looks at it and says actually I want Y so lets do Y

HKS (prob others as well) dont do that act on there own.

Hence price difference

Is HKS cheaper than what i have been quoted Dave and is that a Piggy Back? If so how much tuning can be done with it compared to a standalone?

I can't see the benefit of fitting one with a supercharger. Unless you are upping the boost on the s/c (bigger pulley etc), then you'll need to do internals and also the fueling.

The supercharger comes with the piggyback component for the job. So unless you want to alter the fueling then currently what's the point??

Agree with Dave, you could get a FCON fitted/mapped for about the same money
