Hello all

Just a short note to say hello as a new member to the lexus world!!!, just purchased a new is220d se and was feeling all happy and enthusiastic but then started seeing some of the posts and reviews of this and my mood is diminishing rapidly.

I had the car for 24 hours and it seemed quiet and pokey and spec'd up well compared to my existing audi, yet i read notes about noisy engines and difficult rides etc. and wonder if i made some mistake or my driving abilities are not in tune with some other peoples.

Am i making a big mistake ?????? Any comments welcome.

Welcome to LOC :D

Every car is different, I know some of the early models had quite a few various problems. These look like they are getting slowly ironed out as time progresses. Think the major problem on the 220d is the poor fuel consumption.

As Mac says if you are happy with your new car then go and enjoy it :D

Hella and welcome mate

Dont let other peoples problems worry you and as long as your happy thats all that matters!

Look on the bright side if you do ever experience any problems (which i hope you dont) you'll be able to look on here and know exactly what it is and what to do about it!
