Tyre Scream

OK, the tyres started screaming today on the way home when going around a couple of roundabouts, I wasn't driving hard at all (or at least not compared to how I have done in the past when I'm in a bad mood) and the tyres started screaming, checked out the tread and they're all good, only had them around 6-8 weeks, is it just a case that they've bedded in now and worn off the shipping surface totally?

Just seemed strange that they started doing it today, never heard them like this before although I have to admit I don't normally have the radio off

Saying that though they were really screaming loud!

Anything to worry about or is it maybe because it's such hot weather lately?

It's an old road surface this one mate, same route I've been travelling the past six months to and from work, no new tarmac here, know what you mean about the new stuff though, it squeals like crazy going at 2mph on that stuff, this was doing about 40 - 50mph absolute tops, probably only 30ish really!
