Ebay..passing Off Harrier As Rx300

That chap was on eBay trying to sell a Toyota Harrier 2.2 as a RX300..... :o

Wrote to him saying that he was taking the p**s

Wrote back threatening me etc.........

May let the local boys in blue know.......or trading standards

must say hes a nasty piece of work

Yup, he's really taking the pi$$ now - I wrote to him when he first put the car up on the site - the first time he made no mention that it was a Toyota Harrier and an import one at that. I wrote to eBay and asked them to investigate but they just fobbed me off. I think eBay has a moral and legal right to ensure that goods sold via their site are described correctly - afterall, they are acting as agents for the seller.

I notice now he has put the word "Harrier" in his description, but still no mention that it is imported.

Good to see he didn't sell it last time, and hopefully his reserve will not be met this time too.
