The beamers really nice motor and it is funny that the two beamers drivers (Anees & Gord) have both said they wish they could drop the bmw engine into the IS :D

Anees your obviously not a proper BMW driver though as you use your indicators

I was talking to a few family members that have BMWs at the weekend and they were shocked when I said I think Lexus make nicer cars. I just said that “BMW is not all that” and for me personally “Lexus has a better image” and I thought they were going to thump me…..run! They said that they would “rather pay more and buy a BMW”… I just said “what? The German mondeo?” I do admire the BMW marketing I must say…

If I wasn’t for the engine in the car, I’d much rather have my IS200 – its less “in your face” if you get what I mean? The BMW is much cheaper to tune/modify however, goes like stink and very economical so from a practical point of view the better car.

Maybe Prolex/TDI can offer BMW Diesel engine transplants? Now what would be something! :shifty:

@Rikos - yes may you are right, their must be a fault on mine, the indicators do work?? Maybe BMW need to check something?

Need to fill up today and the trip computer reports I have done just shy of 500 miles from my 63ltr tank. Now thats where the IS200 just can't compete - I don't think even the new IS220 is that economical?
