Much Happening?

Hiya folks - long time no speak ....... not had much time to visit recently - and called in tonight to find out when the Donington meet is only to realise it is THIS weekend and I have plans elsewhere!!! Doh !!!!

My IS goes for it's 2nd service Friday - Sheffield dealer this time as the Doncaster one no longer does Lexus. Pitted alloys reported - do the dealers usually replace without a fuss?

Have I missed much?

u missed the brooklands meet last saturday, which was very good so everyone said.

oh yeah and we got a debate goin wit the S3 boys and girls (jus tryin not to be sexist)

New set of alloys no probs.

Lovely man came to collect my car from my work-place ...... left me with a spare Lexus in case it was needed, and brought my car back later complete with new wheels, all polished and shiny - valeted inside and out, nice smelly stuff in ashtray and tin of sweeties on the dash!

The chap was very helpful, friendly, professional and had a nice trustworthy air about him.

Just got a nice feel-good factor from my car-service experience which is something sadly lacking at sooooo many dealerships. So nice when you find someone does it right! Some of the Honda dealers could take note!

Oh - and the car drives superb after the service - back to being quiet again, smooth and feels new again! :D
