The Tezza failed the MOT today on the OS lower ball joint, bloke reckons it is "dangerous" and that the NS is "on the way out", having said that I don't have any knocking from either side.

Called my local motor factors and got a price for a ball joint and an arm, ball joint was £47 and the complete arm £93 so figured that at 100k miles the bushes are probably worn so may as well replace both arms.

As the title, anyone know the correct torque for the various nuts and bolts?

TIA

4 white knuckles with a 2ft breaker bar..... LOL

sorry couldnt resist

Thanks for that fluff, does that include the ABS sensor bolt as well

Anyway was outside the motor factors at 07:50 this morning, like an alkie outside a pub, waiting for opening time. Asked about "me bits", "um.......it was the ball joints you needed wasn't it Neil", "well yes it was" went the convo. Turns out the arms are just that, no ball joints  They knew that I needed them and they ordered them yesterday so now the dilemma is do I just fit the ball joints and send the arms back and save myself £180 or just renew the lot?

Decisions, decisions.
