Its probably sitting on a car park somewhere for a couple of days, its not mine but it is a very dear friend of mines and she was hit and pushed to the ground in order to get it

Sorry to hear this mate.

This happened to my friends father in late 2005 and they took off with his BMW 318. He was 65, jumped from behind in the Asda car park, hit and pushed to the floor. The youth was caught on CCTV, later caught by police and appear in court. He was sentenced to a few weeks of community service. What can you say ?

Any distinguishing marks that set it apart? Aftermarket lights / scratches / stickers?

Its completly standard, if it still has the original plates on it will have HOLDCROFT at the bottom

I suppose there's only that sticker on the back window then as unique-spotter type thing.

I assume the forum software keeps a record of IP addresses used to post - ISP's also log which user account is logged on using which IP address so in theory you could trace where this was posted..assuming not done in internet cafe etc then could help trace the car.

Admin - Do you keep a record of IP addresses for users logged on?
