I have a 2001 is 200sport with 60k full lexus history, and was thinking of fitting a supercharger or turbo, what are your educated thoughts on this.

Have seen a fitted price for a supercharger on eBay for £1850... is this good?

If you want to take your car way over 200bhp and spend lots of your £££££££ then go for the turbo :)

If you wanting about 200bhp for the price you have seen fitted or go gold then go that way :D

as many have mentioned b4 do it if you are happy with a small increase in power,but if you get bored easily then put your money towards a turbo,but yes you do require lots more £££££££ for that.I got bored of mine very quickly

:D I actually work for Honeywell / Garrett so if someone could give me the part numbers for the turbos used on the is200 application I may be able to get a bit of a deal for myself and other interested parties..

I do...............its the manifold thats the problem............however I'm getting one made up which will enable more BHP to be squeezed out

As Rsarin says, if you get bored easily then the S'C might be a a waste of money for you. Whilst it does make driving the car nicer as it has more poke.....I was a little dissapointed with it, I was expecting it to feel more than it actualy was.
