Alloy Offset

Just lookin for some knowledge, I've spotted a set of wheels I really want, only trouble is I can only get em with a 40mm offset, they are 7.5x18 inches, would tehy stick out too much? anyone else got wheels with the same offset, any pics? cheers. :duh:

Offset for IS model is 38 - 45 so you should be okay.

40 Offset shouldn't need any spacers.

i have 7.5x18 on a 42 offset and they are perfect

Bazza,the reason they fit perfect is because they fall into the 38 - 45 offset guide NOT 45-50

38 - 45 is correct guide

So 7.5JX17 PCD 5X114.3 with an offset of 35 wont then? Sorry for the high jack.

Mine are standard "lexus" 17" 5 spoke .... and the "et"(offset) is 50, seen lots of guides on the net ..... some are very accurate others are not...

Also remember that clearence of the front calipers could be a issue as well as even on the stock rims it's very tight...
