Rub with 1500 grade paper (wet) then use G6 or G3 cutting paste from Hex or similar outlets.Just had scuff and couple of scratches done by autosmart (paid for by a garage after they scuffed it ) Fantastic job, just bit of elbow grease needed.Took him 10 mins top.Tube of G3 or G6 about £6 or 2.5ltr tin for £24 ish.2.5 ltr tin lasts too long for private users though I am told.A tube should be more than enough to do a whole car.

I guess it all depends on how deep the scratch is and where it is. I know I have crappy hand-eye co-ordination so wouldn't even try at something like this :) If it don't T-Cut I either leave well alone or pay for some guy to fix it.

Ive used Scratch Remover from Turtle Wax. Its in a yellow and white tube. Safe Cut I think its called and its brilliant! Just a good bit of hard effort and ive managed to get rid of loads of scratches and scuffs.

It does really depend on the scratch and how deep it is.

As above post says some wet and dry 1500 to 2000 grade paper will shift most light scratches.

Ideally a buff down after with a pc with some decent polish, i use Sonus sfx1 restore polish on a medium pad and it comes up like new.

Just in the middle of doing a few chips on my partners 206 as a practice before i have ago on the lexus and its looking ok using the above method.

Dont know where abouts you from Strafer but im in Scunthorpe and Stoke-on-Trent all the time, your welcome to use my pc and polishes if you want to have a go at it.
