Ok lads so ive done nearly 10000km since i got my car in August. Ive been told i should get it a small service done. Im looking for what are the best parts to get, where to get them, locally in Ireland or Internet and how much they will cost roughly?

Here's what i think i could manage to do myself:

Oil change

Oil filter

Spark plugs

It did get a full service before i bought it including all belts etc.

Is there anything else i should do that isn't to hard to do?

If you wanted to, you could do an air filter and pollen filter and thats the bulk of a service. Oil the door locks, hinges...jobs a good en! Also top up any fluid, coolant, transmission fluid. Visually check the brake pads/discs, top up brake fluid should it need it....check tyre tread/psi...

Whilst your donw their doing the oil change, check the ball joints.......well i assume you have a jack...

Pollen filter is behind the glove box. Its not the cheapest thing mind!!! Not the Toyota one I bought anyway! Glad to be of service mate.

Pollen filter is behind the glove box, "squeeze" in the sides and the glove box will hinge down. You will see a black box with a cover on it is in there.

Assuming the plugs were done at the last service they will be OK after 10K Km, should last a lot longer than that, iridium Power (shortest life) are good for 50K Km.

I think that the ones in it are just normal plugs. Is the any noticable difference in using the iridium plugs?

Minimal to be honest...they can just take more heat and supposed to spark the petrol more pracisely. I guess in theory they should make the car more responsive. There not cheap mind....still least you only have to have 4
