Did anything ever happen with this?

Did they survive the heat under the bonnet?

forgot to post my findings.

well the induction pipe on top of the engine didnt come out so good at all. it bubbled up a bit and also after just checking now, i noticed the relay cover near the front of the engine bay also look a little bubbly.

i think my next plan is to just paint them and put graphics on them. the vinyl wont have any troubles at all sticking to the painted surface,

i just think that the plastic they use for these covers isnt the right kind of plastic for the vinyl to stick to.

i will be painting these soon when work calms down a bit and ill post up some pics.

problem i got now tho. what colour should i paint them?

so many to choose from. was thinking white, red or black?

Nice idea mate and they looked great, pity about the result - maybe you could source another vinyl material? There must be something available surely?

i think it might just because it it chrome vinyl. ive dealt with a few different brands in my time and they are all pretty much the same.

i must admit im coming round to the painted idea as its all over not just the face of the box.
