U S 300 Vs. U K 200

Could someone tell me whether the US IS300 is the same body size as the UK IS200??

I'm asking because, whilst over there, i managed to sort out a fantastic price on the Weathershield car covers and need to be sure they'll fit before ordering.

Think the body size itself is the same but the front and rear bumpers are deeper in the USA due to differing safety regulations to Europe so that may cause an issue if they go on there too?

Hmm, i think the bumpers are deeper but i wonder if this would create a problem?? they should still fit, but may be a little large??

Yes, the Weathershield cover will fit the IS200......it's flexible enough to fit around bigger bumper, spoilers etc. Think I paid $300 for the IS cover and aound $250 for the MR2

While the bumpers are a little longer, I'm sure its only by a few inches, and I can't see how that would make that much difference for a car cover......

Just had a look on the US eBay site at an IS300 over there - man, are those sticky-out rear bumpers ugly!

So glad we don't have them over here!!
