Just One Key

now after reading a few threads i need to know how i know if i have a master or valet key as i hate only having one key so how do i tell if it is the valet or master

ive got 3 keys to mine. 2 of them have the boot release and 1 doesnt.

im guessing the one without the boot release is the valet key. dont know how ive got 2 masters tho.

from new you get 1 valet and 2 master keys, so if you loose 1 master then another can be made

You would have to go to a toyota or lexus dealer i think if you want to get a key cut that has a built in immobiliser

NO! you can get a blank key cut at any decent locksmith - the key itself you can get from the dealer

Sorry im just talking from experience over here in Ireland. Most locksmiths will not make a copy of any key that has a built in immobiliser thingy.
