Who Uses Fith Gear?

just a thing that went thru my head. i never seem to put it in 5th. seems kinda pointless because 5th and 6th are so similar ratio. normally just go from 4th to 6th.

also can u buy a final drive gear so a bit higher top end is acheived?

i always use 5th. u get a lower ratio gear kit, not seen a higher one tho

Never really used to use sixth in all honesty in the IS, it was never much use as the car had no grunt in that gear unless you were doing illegal speeds on the motorway!

I was also branded a 5th gear driver by SteveAudioX a couple of years back on the way to Edinburgh!
