Newbie... Is200 Info Needed

im new here and i currently own a rover 216 coupe. im interested in changing my car soon and im considering an is200... Just want to know a bit about the car.

Im 20 (21 in april) - what would insurance be like?

Whats peformance like? I hear its around 150bhp, 0-60 in just under 10.. which isn't great really.. but i thought i'd ask the owners to see what they found...

Comfort?

Reliability? Common Faults?

How much can you pick one up for?

Any other help would be great too...

insurance at your age it won't be great but iff you can afford the luxury???? just dont expect the performence lower down the revs the is200 is no slepper but a great motorway car you can still play with the big boys in the fast lane

Ball joints

tyre ware (see the doctor) you will learn

Do a search plenty on here on faults

I had my IS200 6 months and cant wait to upgrade to the IS300 unlike the posh lads that go straight to the IS250/IS220D etc lol sorry guys

Performance is out of this world!!

Best car on the road!! The closest other car is the BMW 535D Auto in the new shape and I have had both of them.

I am on my third IS200 and have had no faults with any of them. All you have to do is service them on time and treat them with plenty of TLC.

More reliable than any human I know!!!

Price? I just picked up my latest IS200 SE Auto on a 53 Reg in blood red for £7800 with 26,000 miles on it with full Lexus History!!!!

I am well made up!!!! :D
