Manual Lock Doesn't Work On Is220d

This evening the keyless entry on my IS220d doesn't work. Remembering mention of interference etc I tried removing the bit of the door-handle that gives access to the manual lock. When I turn the key there is a little click but the door doesn't unlock. Any ideas anyone?

I can unlock the boot ok with the keyless entry and the interior light in the boot comes on.

Could it be the Battery? Shame I can't get to it to charge it if it is, but then the boot opens and light comes on...

Anyway the RAC is on the way....

Would have thought if the keyless works on the boot it would work on the drivers door.

Good luck. A friend had them break in there car the other day with deadlocks - won't post on here what they did - but wouldn't want them to do it on my car.

Yay the RAC man got me in. He tried using the mechanical key at the same time as pressing the unlock button on the key fob. Perhaps thats what the manual says to do but I didn't remember that bit and the manual was in the car. The car wouldn't start until I held the key fob right by the start button so looks like its probably interference. I'll see if it locks/unlocks ok when I get to church in the morning. If not then he suggested thats when to suspect the module in the car needs replacing.
