Bazza is spot on with 3 possibles apart from the doors, as well as side valve engine the windscreen wipers worked off a vacuum chamber and when you went up hill and used all the power there was no vacuum so they slowed down or stopped - allegedly :)

its a 100e

wether its a 100e popular or anglia is hard to tell

its not a 100e prefect as they were 4 doors

the angle shaped anglia as in harry potter was known as the 105e anglia

Right - that particular body was called the Anglia until 1959 when the 105e with the reverse angled rear window was introduced. It was then effectively renamed the Popular.

Ford made a habit of transforming the superceded Anglia into the Popular. They did it with the pre-war Anglia as well as this one.

I think they played the same trick with the Escort in later years.
